Investigating the use of renewable fuels such as hydrogen and biomethane in Australia. Interests are to clarify and overcome hurdles for suppliers and users of these fuels, and blends with natural gas. Research is funded by the Future Fuels Cooperative Research Centre.

Previous work has included assessment of different energy carriers, techno-economic assessments, combustion system and burner design, experimentation and modelling, and safety of venting operations.
