Webinar: Everything we know on end-user appliances compatibility with hydrogen

As Future Fuels CRC’s research programs grow we are offering all our participants an in-depth dive into ‘everything we know’ so far on the compatibility of current end-user appliances with hydrogen. This must-see event is a chance to understand and discuss all our appliance related research results in one event, including the latest results and future research goals.
Session 1: Type A appliances – 10:00am to 11:00am (Syd/Mel time)
Presenters: Neil Smith and Doug Proud (University of Adelaide) and a panel of industry experts
This session will introduce you to everything we have learned so far on existing residential style ‘Type A’ appliances with different blends of hydrogen, including the latest research results . The projects covered will include:
RP1.4-01 Domestic gas appliance review and test program
RP1.4-01B Room carbon monoxide levels in lit-under burner situations
RP1.4-01C Light-under testing and CO modelling of cookers at 20% hydrogen blending levels
RP1.4-05 Performance of Type-A appliances with blends of hydrogen and natural gas
RP1.10-04 Effects of dopants on hydrogen flames
Session 2: Type B and Industrial Process 11:00am to 12:30pm (Syd/Mel time)
Presenters: Neil Smith, Doug Proud and Paul Medwell (University of Adelaide) and Jenzen Ho (University of Melbourne) and a panel of industry experts
This session will cover everything we have learned so far on ‘Type B’ commercial and industrial appliances and processes with different blends of hydrogen, including the latest research results. The projects covered will include:
RP1.4-02 Future fuel use in Type B and industrial equipment
RP1.4-03 Pathways for hydrogen adaptation to industrial processes
RP1.4-04 Hydrogen gas specification and review of end-user instrumentation
RP1.4-06 Assessment of Type B appliances with blends of hydrogen and natural gas
RP1.4-08 Detailed assessment and testing of commercial appliances with hydrogen
RP1.10-05 Impact of hydrogen addition on the performance of premixed gas turbines, reciprocating engines and industrial burners
